Today I am going to share with you the most asked about question that Dan Long is always asked and that is why did he get into TRX workouts and suspension training.

It mostly comes down to one thing and that is he got tired of boring exercises and doing the same routines week after week. When he got into suspension training there was no one really dominating the suspension apparatus and got hooked into it at the Powerhouse Gym in Tampa.

Dan Long used to suffer a lot from lower back pain. His L4 and L5 disk were totally out of place and this meant no more heavy lifting. Once he got into suspension exercises, this all changed. His back is much stronger because of core strengthening and he has no more pain.

The beauty of working out with suspension straps is that you are not using any added weights so there is no extra pressure being applied to your joints.

TRX training is for every level. You do not have to be an expert to start training with TRX. When you join Dan Long’s Suspension Revolution, there is a beginner, intermediate and advanced level. So as a first time TRX’er, you will start with beginner and work yourself up to advanced.

Dan has excellent instructions laid out for you to follow and each exercises is well explain. It does take a little getting used as it is a new equipment for you. But by the second week you will be well into it and enjoying every minute of it. I have been doing it for 9 months now and its the only workout that I do.
